What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
As an integral part of the arenaflex team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering engaging art lessons that inspire creativity and foster a love for the arts in young children. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Lesson Planning and Implementation:
Design and deliver age-appropriate art lessons for children in the 5-12 age range, focusing on beginner-level techniques that are both educational and enjoyable. Your lessons should be creative, interactive, and tailored to meet the developmental needs of each child.
Teaching Art Techniques:
Provide clear, step-by-step instructions on various art techniques including drawing, painting, coloring, and other creative methods. Introduce children to different art styles, materials, and tools in a safe and supportive manner.
Creating a Positive Learning Environment:
Foster an inclusive, welcoming, and nurturing classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued, encouraged, and motivated to express themselves creatively. Ensure all students have equal opportunities to participate and succeed.
Student Safety and Well-being:
Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during art sessions. Maintain proper supervision at all times and adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines established by arenaflex.
Classroom Management:
Effectively manage classroom dynamics, materials, and resources to ensure smooth and productive sessions. Maintain organization and cleanliness of art supplies and work areas.
Progress Assessment:
Observe and evaluate children's artistic progress, providing constructive and positive feedback to help them improve their skills and build confidence.
Communication:
Maintain clear and professional communication with parents, school staff, and arenaflex management regarding program activities, student progress, and any concerns or questions.
Participation in Team Activities:
Collaborate with other instructors and staff to support overall program operations and participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and special events as required.

Essential Qualifications
Passion for Art and Children:
You must genuinely enjoy art and have a strong desire to inspire children through creative expression. A love for teaching and working with young learners is absolutely essential.
Artistic Knowledge:
Solid understanding of fundamental art techniques such as drawing, painting, coloring, and other creative methods. You should be comfortable demonstrating these techniques to beginners.
Creativity:
The ability to think creatively and develop innovative lesson plans that keep children engaged and excited about art.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
