Nuclear Care Partners is growing its team and offering a supportive work environment. The Payroll and Data Assistant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting, payroll, and financial functions, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with laws.
Responsibilities
- Perform tasks to establish and maintain employee/payroll records
- Review and audit timecard records for accuracy and completeness
- Accurately compute overtime and verify compliance with state laws and regulations
- Maintain electronic files for the Finance department
- Calculate and input billing totals into spreadsheet, identifying discrepancies
- Act as a support for the Finance department and perform other duties as assigned
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, problem solve and make reasonable decisions based on company policies and practices
- Assists with weekly payroll runs and coordinates with HR Department and outside payroll provider as necessary
- Assists with various finance activities as directed
- May be required to run various periodic reports as requested
- Assists in development of company’s accounting policies and processes
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills
- High School diploma or equivalent education required
- Administrative experience, including Human Resources or payroll preferred, but not required
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to understand and follow standard operating policies and procedures
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
