HealthSpark helps physical therapists accept insurance while staying independent.
This opportunity is for licensed PTs who want to build or grow their own caseload without taking on the full burden of credentialing, billing, claims follow-up, and payer administration.
You remain in control of your schedule, your patients, and your clinical care. HealthSpark provides the infrastructure behind the scenes so you can spend more time treating and less time managing insurance.
About the Opportunity
As a HealthSpark PT, you can see patients independently through home visits, mobile visits, telehealth, or clinic-based care. You decide when you work, which patients you take on, and how you want to grow your practice.
HealthSpark supports the administrative side of insurance-based care, including payer credentialing, documentation workflows, billing, claims submission, and payment processing.
This can be a fit if you are starting to see patients on your own, expanding an existing private caseload, or adding independent visits alongside another role.
What HealthSpark Provides
HealthSpark gives independent PTs the ability to:
Accept Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and commercial PPO insurance
Receive payouts twice per month on a consistent schedule
Use HealthSpark’s documentation and billing workflow
Keep direct relationships with their own patients
Maintain control over scheduling and clinical decision-making
Grow a practice without hiring office staff or managing payer admin alone
What You’ll Be Responsible For
You’ll provide physical therapy care independently and manage your own patient relationships.
Your responsibilities include:
Seeing patients on a schedule you control
Providing care through home visits, telehealth, mobile visits, or clinic-based visits
Completing visit documentation in HealthSpark
Communicating directly with your patients
Maintaining appropriate professional and clinical standards
Once your documentation is complete, HealthSpark uses it to support billing, claims, and payment workflows.
How Getting Started Works
First, you apply and complete onboarding.
HealthSpark then helps with insurance credentialing and payer setup. Many PTs are able to begin seeing insured patients within about 30 days, depending on payer timelines and onboarding completion.
After that, you document visits in HealthSpark, and our system handles the billing and claims process from your completed notes.
Payments are issued twice monthly on a predictable payout schedule.
