Let’s skip the corporate fluff.
We run a B2B podcast agency that works with founders, operators, and executive-level clients. Right now, we’re looking for someone reliable who can help us handle podcast audio editing and sound design on a short-term contract basis.
This is not a passive “cut silences and export” role.
We need someone who cares about audio quality, can work quickly, communicates clearly, and can consistently deliver polished episodes.
Some recordings won’t be perfect.
Some turnarounds will move fast.
You should be comfortable adapting and figuring things out without constant hand-holding.
What you’ll be doing:
Edit podcast episodes for clarity, pacing, and flow
Clean up dialogue and improve overall audio quality
Mix and master episodes for a professional final sound
Add music, transitions, and light sound design where needed
Flag audio issues early and communicate clearly with the team
Deliver final files on schedule
What we’re looking for:
Experience editing podcasts or long-form spoken audio
Strong attention to detail
Good communication and reliability
Ability to manage deadlines and multiple episodes
Someone proactive who takes ownership of their work
Requirements:
Experience with DAWs like Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Logic, Reaper, etc.
Strong audio cleanup, mixing, and mastering skills
Organized workflow and file management
Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
Nice to have:
Experience with video podcasts
Sound design or music production background
Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve or basic video editing workflows
Compensation & Structure:
Short-term contract to start
Part-time / project-based
Opportunity for longer-term work if it’s a good fit
Final note:
We care more about reliability, communication, and quality.
If you can consistently deliver clean, polished podcast audio without needing to be micromanaged, you’ll probably do well here.
