Principal Financial Analyst – Corporate Consolidations

About the Role The Principal Analyst – Corporate Consolidations supports MiniMed’s consolidated close, external reporting, and consolidation systems. This high-impact individual contributor partners closely with Finance and IT teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant consolidated financial reporting under US GAAP. The role also supports TSA governance, consolidation process design, and finance systems transformation (including SAP S/4HANA and OneStream), including master data, intercompany, currency translation, system security, internal controls, and cross functional integrations. Key Responsibilities Consolidated Close & Reporting • Support month-end/quarter- end/year-end consolidated close activities. • Perform system and account validations to ensure data integrity between systems. • Perform balance sheet analytics and ensure integrity across MiniMed legal entities. Financial Systems & Process Improvement (OneStream / SAP S/4HANA) • Serve as a key user/SME for our current SAP ERP system & OneStream consolidations & reporting tool. • Support current master data processes and help guide future process improvements. • Support and sometimes lead projects to develop our accounting processes, including Account Reconciliations and Journal Entries. • Support SAP S/4HANA implementation activities (requirements, conversion, testing, cutover support). Intercompany, Currency, and Multi-Entity Complexity • Support intercompany accounting processes and ensure alignment across entities/functions. • Assist with multi-currency consolidation activities, including FX translation impacts and reporting analyses. Compliance, Controls, and Audit Support • Support SOX/internal control documentation and execution; assist with control testing and remediation tracking. • Coordinate audit support and respond to auditor inquiries tied to consolidated financials and consolidation processes. Minimum Qualifications: To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident in your applicant profile. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required) and 7+ years of experience in corporate consolidations, financial reporting, or public accounting. OR Advanced Degree in in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required) and 5+ years of experience in corporate consolidations, financial reporting, or public accounting. Preferred Qualifications • Strong US GAAP knowledge; experience supporting Financial systems and processes in a global environment. • Hands-on experience with SAP, OneStream, or similar ERP/Consolidations systems. • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to execute independently with minimal oversight • Strong communication skills • Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines, communicating when support is needed. The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. PR) locations (USD):$112,800.00 - $169,200.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Short Term Incentive (STI).
