Procurement Analyst, Strategic Sourcing

Our client is a growing organization committed to optimizing its procurement operations and driving strategic value through effective sourcing. We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Analyst to support our strategic sourcing initiatives. This role will involve conducting market research, analyzing spend data, supporting negotiations, and contributing to the development of procurement strategies. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote flexibility with in-office collaboration. Responsibilities: Support strategic sourcing managers in conducting market intelligence and spend analysis for various categories. Assist in the development and execution of RFx (RFI, RFP, RFQ) processes, including document preparation and vendor communication. Analyze supplier proposals and bids, identifying key strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Help prepare negotiation strategies and support procurement teams during supplier negotiations. Monitor supplier performance against established KPIs and contract terms. Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement data and reporting systems. Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk reduction within the supply chain. Assist in contract management activities, including review, execution, and compliance monitoring. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and ensure effective sourcing solutions. Research industry trends, best practices, and new sourcing technologies. Prepare reports and presentations on procurement activities, savings achieved, and market insights. Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and procedures. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, finance, or a related analytical role. Recent graduates with relevant internships will be considered. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis functions). Familiarity with procurement processes and sourcing methodologies is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Experience with procurement software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa) is advantageous. Eagerness to learn and develop expertise in strategic sourcing and procurement.
