Description
The Program Manager (Senior Contract Specialist) will lead and manage complex Government contracting programs, ensuring successful execution of acquisition strategies, compliance with regulatory standards, and delivery of mission-critical services. This role requires deep expertise in program management, acquisition planning, and contract administration.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage Government contracting programs from initiation through execution and closeout
Oversee acquisition planning activities and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
Provide strategic guidance on contract development, negotiation, and administration
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure program milestones and deliverables are met
Monitor program performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
Serve as a primary liaison between stakeholders and Government representatives
Ensure adherence to quality, cost, and schedule requirements
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Strong knowledge of Government contracting and acquisition processes
Expertise in program management and contract lifecycle oversight
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Familiarity with Integrated Contracts Expert (ICE) tools and processes is preferred
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
At least seven (7) years of experience in program management, contracting, acquisition planning, or a combination of these disciplines
Current or prior FAC-C (Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting) certification for a minimum of five (5) years, or civilian equivalent
