About Us:
We're a US-based remote insurance agency growing our sales team. We're hiring a Recruitment Coordinator to qualify candidates and host their onboarding assessments. This is a coordinator role, not a sales role — your job is to make candidates feel comfortable, ensure they complete their assessment, and keep our pipeline moving.
The Workflow:
Call licensed candidates who have applied to our insurance sales role
Conduct a brief 15-minute phone interview to qualify them (full script provided)
Schedule them into one of our Zoom assessment slots (Mon/Wed/Fri, 10am or 1pm EST)
Host the Zoom session at the scheduled time
Send the assessment link via Zoom chat and supervise quietly while they complete it (45-60 minutes)
Thank them, end the call, and update our tracking sheet
Follow up on no-shows and reschedule once if needed
What the Zoom Session Looks Like:
During the Zoom itself, your role is simple: greet the candidate warmly, send them the assessment link in chat, and stay on the call quietly while they complete it. You're there to ensure the assessment gets done — no interviewing, no selling, no pressure. Once they finish, you thank them and end the call. Most Zooms are about an hour, mostly silent supervision.
Typical Week:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: Two Zoom assessment sessions per day (10am + 1pm EST) — 2 hours of hosting, plus phone interviews and admin
Tuesday, Thursday: Phone interview days — qualifying new applicants and scheduling them for upcoming Zoom slots
Total: ~20 hours per week
What You Need to Bring:
Strong, neutral American or near-American spoken English. This is the most important requirement. You'll be the first voice US candidates hear from our company, so clarity and a neutral accent are essential. Candidates with heavy regional accents (any region) will not be considered.
2+ years of US-facing phone work (recruiting coordinator, BPO, customer service, virtual assistant, or similar)
Professional, calm, friendly phone demeanor
Reliable home setup: fast internet (25+ Mbps), working webcam, quality headset, quiet workspace
Comfortable with Zoom, Google Sheets, and calendar tools
Strong organizational skills
Available to work US business hours (9am-5pm EST) consistently
Background in recruiting, HR, or insurance is a plus but not required
Compensation:
$9 USD per hour, 20 hours per week
4-week initial term with strong potential to extend long-term
Realistic monthly earnings: ~$720

What This Role Is Not:
This is NOT a sales role. You will not be cold-calling, selling, or closing anything. You will not be paid commissions on sales. Your only job is to coordinate qualified applicants, host their Zoom assessment, and make sure they complete the test.
