The Opportunity
The Regional Manager is responsible for managing and growing an existing book of business through proactive client engagement, policy service excellence, and consultative product recommendations. This role serves as a trusted advisor to clients, conducting regular portfolio and policy reviews while identifying opportunities to enhance client outcomes through appropriate product solutions and service enhancements. The Regional Manager partners closely with internal servicing, underwriting, and case management teams to ensure a seamless client experience while driving retention, satisfaction, and responsible revenue growth.
What You'll Do
Client Relationship Management
Manage and retain an assigned regional book of business, serving as the primary point of contact for ongoing client needs
Conduct annual and quarterly client reviews to assess policy performance, portfolio alignment, and evolving financial objectives
Build long-term relationships by delivering consistent, high-touch, client-centric service
Policy & Portfolio Reviews
Review existing insurance and financial products for performance, suitability, and alignment with client goals
Conduct index allocation reviews, performance discussions, and policy optimization recommendations
Analyze portfolios and identify opportunities for improvements, adjustments, or enhancements
Monitor outstanding items and ensure timely completion of client tasks and deliverables.
Assist with onboarding new clients and organizing renewal cycles.
Consultative Upselling & Cross-Selling
Identify opportunities where new or additional products may add value to a client’s existing strategy
Educate clients on available solutions and enhancements in a clear, compliant, and consultative manner
Partner with advisors and internal teams to implement recommended changes and new solutions
Service & Execution Oversight
Coordinate with policy service, case management, and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate execution
Resolve escalated service issues and advocate for client needs internally
Ensure all client interactions and transactions adhere to regulatory and compliance standards
Business Growth & Reporting
Track client engagement, retention, and service-related growth metrics
Maintain accurate documentation of client reviews, recommendations, and outcomes
Provide regional insights and feedback to leadership on client trends, product needs, and service opportunities
What You Bring
5+ years of experience in insurance, financial services, or wealth management
Strong understanding of life insurance products, indexed strategies, and policy servicing
Proven experience managing an existing book of business and conducting client reviews
Ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear, client-friendly manner
Excellent relationship-building, communication, and follow-through skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation practices
Experience with credit unions, healthcare systems, or nonprofit organizations is a plus.
Comfort discussing basic concepts related to SERPs, split-dollar, and life insurance-based strategies
