Staff members of the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation (RECF) have energy and passion for the mission and vision of the RECF. This role is primarily responsible for managing and overseeing teams and events for designated programs in an assigned geographic territory.

Team Support Responsibilities
Maintain regular communications with Coaches in designated territory regarding season/monthly updates, questions/concerns, and general team support issues
Assist with the development of training documents for new teams and coaches
Assist with Coach training events within designated territory
Assist Coaches and teams with season registration, registering for events in their region, and upholding their obligations identified in the Commitment to Coach Excellence
Regularly complete the Non-Returning Organization process by following up with organizations that have not renewed their season registration, determine the reason for nonrenewal, and take steps as warranted to facilitate renewal of lapsed programs
Coordinate and lead engagement and outreach initiatives in target communities to attract new organizations
Ensure that regional sponsorship commitments are met
Event Support Responsibilities
Maintain regular communications with Event Partners in designated territory regarding event posting, event configurations/standards, the Commitment to Event Excellence, post-event follow-up/feedback, and general event support issues
Assist with the development of documents, training resources, and planning tools used by Event Partners and event staff
Assist with Event Partner and Key Volunteer training events within designated territory
Recruit new Event Partners within designated territory
Coordinate with Coaches and Event Partners to ensure teams are provided with an appropriate number of competition opportunities to support the mission of RECF
Provide event support on-site or on-call in coordination with Regional Support Specialists and Competition Technology Team
Coordinate an event posting/release schedule and regional qualification structure within each assigned event region
Manage, train, and support Regional Support Specialists that are assigned to regions within assigned territory
Manage timecard approvals, expense reports, and accurate salary/expense budget tracking
Other Responsibilities
Adhere to all RECF internal and external policies including but not limited to policies found in the Employee Handbook on and off the clock
Deliver exceptional customer service to RECF customers
Uphold organization policies and standards
Ensure and maintain an ethical, trusting, and productive work environment
Provide continual feedback to help maintain organization and program integrity
Support program-specific events and other RECF events as needed/assigned
Anticipate and troubleshoot customers’ needs to provide an outstanding experience
Collect, communicate, and document best practices
Maintain regular communications through periodic meetings with other staff, including but not limited to direct manager, project/regional teams, other departments, and other staff as needed
Understand and implement the Student-Centered and Code of Conduct policies
Initiate and develop positive relationships with schools, teachers, program participants, community and civic organizations, and other STEM stakeholders to develop the growth of RECF programs
Hold annual regional Event Partner and Coach Summits within designated territory
Assist with and be a presenter at the annual RECF Summit
Update and maintain travel budget tracking and complete expense reports in a timely manner
Complete all assigned trainings and/or certifications, as required, in a timely manner
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; background in teaching, education robotics, and/or other educational capacity highly desired
Experienced in a work from home setting with demonstrated success in remote work
Proactive problem-solving skills that lead to innovative thinking and resolutions
Ability to interface on a professional level with a variety of customers (co-workers, sponsors, customers, etc.)
Familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Office products
Computer competency and ability to learn new programs; thorough knowledge of RECF tools/websites
Excellent written and verbal skills; spoken and written English fluency is required
Computer competency and ability to learn new programs
Skilled in setting priorities to manage varying tasks/projects and in time management
Maintain security and confidentiality of sensitive information
Prioritize professional behavior, boundaries, and demeanor while traveling for RECF and when representing the company
Reside in the assigned territory, or shift work schedule to support the assigned territory
Experience in RECF programs as a Coach and/or Event Partner is preferred
Travel Requirements
Attendance at the culminating Championship event(s) (program specific) for the full duration
Attendance at periodic in-person department meetings for the full duration
Willingness and ability to travel domestically (as needed with manager approval and as budgets permit)
