Volt is immediately hiring Regulatory Labeling / Nutrition Specialist in White Plains, New York 10605 (Remote) As a Regulatory Labeling / Nutrition Specialist, you will: • Support the review and approval of food product labels, including ingredient statements, nutrition facts panels (NFP), and required regulatory disclosures. • Assist in ensuring compliance with U.S. FDA and USDA labeling regulations as well as internal company standards. • Conduct detailed reviews of packaging, advertising, and digital content to ensure all claims meet regulatory and legal requirements. • Partner with Marketing and Legal teams to validate product claims, substantiation, and approved language. • Review ingredient lists, raw materials, and product formulations for regulatory accuracy and consistency. • Provide regulatory support for new product development (NPD), product launches, and reformulations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide day-to-day regulatory guidance, escalating complex compliance issues when needed. • Participate in project meetings, tracking regulatory risks, compliance questions, and action items. • Monitor updates to food regulations and labeling laws, assessing potential impact on company products. • Escalate high-risk or complex regulatory issues to senior regulatory team members. This is a full-time opportunity. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1st shift: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM The ideal candidate will have: • Bachelor's degree in food science, Nutrition, Regulatory Affairs, or a related scientific discipline preferred. • Minimum 2+ years of experience in regulatory affairs, food labeling, or compliance within CPG, food manufacturing, or ingredient companies. • Strong knowledge of FDA/USDA food labeling regulations, nutrition labeling, and ingredient compliance. • Experience working with labeling systems such as SAP, Genesis, Optiva, or similar tools is a plus. • Solid understanding of food composition and nutritional analysis for labeling purposes. • Ability to interpret complex regulations and communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders. • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and deadlines. • Results-driven mindset with strong ownership and accountability. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard regulatory/labeling software systems. Location - This is a Remote position. Pay range: $45.00/hr. - $50.00/hr. • Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
