Be the compliance powerhouse behind Alaska's utility privatization. You'll lead PUC/FERC filings, environmental briefs, and regulatory strategy - ensuring every move is legal, defensible, and on time.
Summary
Manages all regulatory compliance activities, including Alaska PUC filings, FERC coordination, environmental reviews, and statutory adherence.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and submit PUC and FERC filings
• Develop regulatory briefs and compliance strategies
• Support negotiation of utility service agreements
• Ensure compliance with environmental and state statutes
• Attend 3 key regulatory hearings/site visits per year
• Coordinate with Principal Consultant on high-level strategy
Qualifications
• JD or 10+ years regulatory experience
• Expert knowledge of Alaska PUC, FERC, and 10 U.S.C. 2688
• Experience with DoD/DoW utility privatization
• Strong legal writing and research skills
