Circle Logistics is expanding and seeking experienced Cradle-to-Gate representatives ready to build a book of business and grow into Branch leadership. This full-cycle business development role involves cold calling, selling services, onboarding accounts, and managing freight relationships with carriers.
Responsibilities
• Cold call and proactively prospect shippers to expand market presence and generate new business
• Sell Circle’s transportation solutions and convert leads into long-term accounts
• Fully manage and grow the accounts you bring on — relationship, service, retention, solutions
• Cover your own freight: develop carrier partnerships, negotiate rates, ensure profitability
• Monitor service performance, address escalations, and ensure on-time pickup and delivery
• Work directly with leadership on pricing and account strategy
• Maintain service KPIs and uphold Circle’s communication and performance standards
• Leverage provided technology for prospecting and pipeline development, including SalesIntel, ZoomInfo, and HubSpot
Skills
• 3–5 years in logistics, freight brokerage, or transportation sales
• Comfort and confidence with cold calling, outbound sales, and building a book from scratch
• Proven success managing both shipper accounts and carrier relationships
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-through skills
• Proficient in Google Workspace & Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with CRMs ie: HubSpot, SalesIntel, and ZoomInfo (all provided)
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, autonomous environment
• Leadership-minded with ambition to move into Branch Management
