Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Direct Route Marketing & Design is looking for a full time, remote, client-focused Account Manager to join their growing team. The role involves serving as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating with internal teams to ensure project deliverables are met, and managing client relationships to drive account growth.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, building trusted, long-term relationships
- Coordinate with internal teams (paid media, SEO, web dev, social, email) to ensure deliverables are on time and on strategy
- Lead regular client check-ins and performance reviews, translating data into clear, actionable insights
- Manage project timelines, scopes, and expectations using tools like Productive.io
- Identify opportunities for account growth and upsell additional services where they add real value
- Troubleshoot issues quickly, from platform access to campaign performance, keeping clients informed every step of the way
- Draft clear, professional client communications, reports, and recaps
Skills
- 4+ years of experience in account management, client services, or a similar client-facing role, ideally at a marketing or creative agency
- Strong understanding of digital marketing fundamentals (paid search/social, SEO, email, web)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities without dropping the ball
- A calm, solutions-oriented approach when things get complicated
- Comfort working cross-functionally with creative, technical, and strategy teams
- Previous agency experience
- Familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, or similar platforms
- Experience with project management tools (Productive.io, Asana, or similar)
