Rogers & Associates is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable leader to lead a high-performing remote team responsible for employee expense reporting and reimbursement operations. The role involves overseeing the expense reimbursement process, ensuring compliance, and driving process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a team responsible for time and expense processing
- Oversee the end-to-end employee expense reimbursement process, ensuring timely and accurate payments
- Manage and optimize Concur expense management workflows and policies
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards and tax regulations
- Review and approve expense reports while resolving escalated issues and exceptions
- Partner with Finance, Payroll, HR and business leaders to improve processes and enhance the employee experience
- Monitor key performance metrics, service levels and team productivity
- Identify automation opportunities and implement continuous process improvements
- Support month-end close activities, reporting and account reconciliations related to travel and expense
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure audit readiness
Skills
- 5+ years of progressive accounts payable, travel and expense or shared services experience
- Previous leadership experience managing an Accounts Payable or Time & Expense team
- Advanced experience administering and supporting SAP Concur
- Strong understanding of expense reimbursement policies, internal controls and compliance
- Experience partnering across multiple departments in a large organization
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead through change
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field
