Hyatt Hotels Corporation is a place where high expectations are exceeded, and they are seeking a highly motivated Accounts Receivable Agent with a passion for hospitality to join their Accounting team. The role involves executing SAMS registration for Hyatt properties and providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Provide backup AR support to hotel properties
- Review SAMS registration is current and follow through to completion
- Regularly contact customers, primarily via phone and e-mail regarding any outstanding requests with the hotel
- Pull any necessary backup as required for SAMS registration
- Provide a high level of customer service to both our external and internal customers
- Promptly respond to all inquiries
- Other duties as may be assigned by supervisors
- Regular attendance is expected based on schedule and business needs
- Monday-Friday working and 8 hours, plus an hour off for lunch, somewhere between 7:00 AM-7:00 PM, with weekend work on rare occasions
- Participation in employee events, onsite meetings, hotel visits and industry conferences are expected
- Work well with others at a variety of levels within the organization
Skills
- 1-3 years customer service, administrative or accounting experience required
- Above-average written and oral communications skills
- Microsoft Office Suite Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Maintain a work environment that is comfortable, user-friendly, and organized
- Ability to adapt to new demands, reprioritize workload and address urgent demands quickly
- Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully to all associates and all internal/external resources
- Eagerness and ability to learn new skills, technologies and business processes quickly

- To work remotely, you must be able to adhere to our IT requirements, including, but not limited to the following: High Speed Internet service required. Broadband technologies allowed are DSL, Cable, and Fiber-Optic. All other ISP (Internet Service Provider) technologies are not allowed, including cellular based services. Colleagues will be required to provide Hyatt with adequate certification of service from provider (upon request)
- 1-4 years Customer Service experience in one of the following industries a plus: Hospitality, Accounting, Commercial Oil & Gas
