They are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist I to manage accounts receivable, resolve billing issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate billing and timely payments.
Responsibilities
- Research payer websites to obtain correct billing information as needed
- Identify issues and trends with assigned payers
- Ensure aged AR is handled according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
- Ensure Production and Quality metrics are met
- Communicate with leadership and partner teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of denials
- Remain flexible to ever-changing priorities
Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year or more work experience
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Access
- 1 year or more accounts receivable and data entry work experience
