[Remote] Agentic AI Lead - Healthcare Domian

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dice is seeking an experienced Agentic AI Lead with a strong background in Healthcare to lead the design, development, and deployment of next-generation AI-powered solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Agentic AI and will focus on building intelligent AI agents that improve clinical workflows and healthcare operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Agentic AI solutions for healthcare applications
• Build autonomous AI agents capable of executing complex, end-to-end workflows
• Develop scalable backend services using Python and integrate AI agents with enterprise APIs, healthcare systems, and data platforms
• Design and deploy production-ready AI solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into AI-driven solutions
• Ensure compliance with healthcare standards, privacy regulations, and industry best practices
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams on AI technologies and solution architecture

Skills

• 9+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3+ years focused on Generative AI, Agentic AI, or LLM-based systems
• Hands-on experience as a Technical Lead, AI Lead, or Engineering Lead managing AI solution delivery
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and backend application development
• Experience building applications using LLMs, AI agents, multi-agent frameworks, and workflow automation
• Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, and DICOM
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance and security standards including HIPAA, GDPR, and FDA regulations
• Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise APIs and healthcare platforms
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Proven experience delivering AI solutions within the Healthcare or Life Sciences domain
• Experience with modern AI frameworks, agent orchestration platforms, and cloud-based AI services
• Passion for building innovative AI solutions that enhance patient care and operational efficiency
