The Account Executive role focuses on winning new business by building strong relationships, prospecting, and demonstrating product value to drive sustainable revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Prospect for new business through a high volume of outbound calls and structured follow‑up within an assigned territory
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers
- Learn, understand, and demonstrate LexisNexis world‑class products
- Achieve certification and mastery in product demonstrations
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals and KPIs
- Collaborate with Account Managers to deliver on shared objectives
Skills
- Experience in lead generation or inside sales roles
- Comfortable managing a high volume of outbound calls (approximately 50–100 per day)
- Strong listening skills with the ability to think quickly and adapt conversations
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
- Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM systems
