NetSuite is seeking a driven, strategic, and experienced Healthcare Sales Executive to join their growing team focused on expanding their footprint within the payer market. The role involves selling software and technology platforms to payer and commercial organizations, requiring a deep understanding of the healthcare payer landscape and the ability to develop high-value client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Primary job duty is to sell software/application solutions and platforms to prospective and existing customers. Identify, develop and close new business opportunities within payer organizations including Medicaid MCO’s, Medicare Advantage, commercial insurers and for-profit retail organizations
- Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation, and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and close
- Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Go-To-Market and Partnerships & Alliances) to deliver customized scalable solutions for each client
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting data using Oracle CRM system
Skills
- 10+ years applicable (Payer and/or healthcare) experience including 5+ years of sales experience with the focus on software, analytics, or services for payers
- Successful sales track record. Proven ability to close high-value, multi-stakeholder deals and ability to navigate long sales cycles
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and a collaborative mindset
- Oracle / Oracle Health knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle's competitors. Interaction with C-level players. Team player with strong interpersonal /communication skills
- Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with prospects/customers
- Travel as required (approximately ~50%)
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex environment involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization
