Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Kinovate Life Sciences is a leader in the market for solid supports in the oligonucleotide synthesis arena. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to expand their presence in the manufacturing and process industries, focusing on identifying and securing new business opportunities in Life Sciences and Biotechnology.
Responsibilities
- Proactively engage clients and prospects to develop new business opportunities across assigned regions with a particular focus on Life Sciences and Biotechnology manufacturing companies
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, providing expertise in calibration and asset management solutions that meet both regulatory and quality system requirements
- Development and managing a pipeline of opportunities with the existing database, advancing prospects from initial contract to closure in alignment with revenue and profitability targets
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of RFQ and RFP Responses, including technical collaboration with operations and quality teams to ensure client specifications are met
- Manage the rollout of the latest programs and multi-site service agreements – particularly for Lice Sciences clients – ensuring seamless integration and service delivery
- Monitor market conditions and competitive activity, providing actionable insights to the Sales Director
- Partner with laboratory operations, quality, and project management teams to deliver high -quality, compliance services, and exceptional customer satisfaction
- Demonstrate working knowledge of ISO, FDA, and other specific regulatory frameworks and their impact on calibration, validation, and product qualification processes
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent industry experience will be considered
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in business development or sales within the biotech and medical device manufacturing industry
- Proven track record of selling professional services into the manufacturing and process industries, including Life Sciences (pharma, biotech, medical devices, and other regulated environments
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, regulatory compliance, and documentation standards
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and virtual collaboration platforms
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities under deadline pressure
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned region, including overnight stays
- Combines technical understanding with commercial acumen to build trust in regulated environments
- Excels in consultative selling and long-cycle sales typical of Life Sciences customers
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to quality, compliance, and continuous improvement
- Collaborates effectively across teams and business units to deliver comprehensive service solutions
