Acepsis, LLC is a Wisconsin-based company dedicated to improving the health and wellness of dairy herds through innovative hygiene technologies. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to focus on sales growth, customer education, and territory development, working directly with dairy producers and industry professionals to deliver practical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Promote and sell Acepsis products, emphasizing their benefits for improving animal health, milk quality, and operational efficiency
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan tailored to the territory
- Build strong relationships with dairy farm operators, veterinarians, and other key influencers
- Conduct on-site product demonstrations and training to ensure effective product use
- Participate in dairy events, trade shows and open houses
- Identify potential customers and develop strategies to penetrate new markets
- Educate clients on the unique value propositions of Acepsis technologies, focusing on ROI and sustainability
- Maintain a deep understanding of Acepsis product lines and their applications
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to customers as needed
- Travel throughout assigned territories to meet with clients, assess needs, and ensure customer satisfaction
- Manage time and resources effectively to maximize territory coverage
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence in the CRM system
- Prepare regular reports for the Vice President of Business Development
Skills
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in agriculture, animal health, or hygiene solutions
- Proven ability to prospect, open doors, build pipelines, and convert opportunities into long-term customer relationships
- Strong consultative selling skills, including the ability to assess farm needs, identify pain points, and communicate practical ROI
- Comfortable presenting technical products, leading on-farm demonstrations, and translating product features into customer outcomes
- Disciplined territory management skills, including route planning, follow-up cadence, pipeline tracking, forecasting, and prioritization
- Proficiency with CRM systems and basic computer applications
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively within the territory
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, or a related field preferred
- Current knowledge of milk quality, udder health, efficient milking procedures and calf raising is a plus
- Ability to speak Spanish a plus
