Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Ledgr is a dynamic accounting firm that partners with small businesses to provide the services and insights to business owners. They are seeking an energetic and motivated Business Development Representative to help grow their client base by generating new business opportunities and representing their services to potential clients.
Responsibilities
- Generate new leads through cold calling, door-to-door prospecting, networking, and other outreach strategies
- Follow up on inbound leads and convert them into qualified sales opportunities
- Build relationships with small business owners and decision-makers
- Present Ledgr's accounting services and partnership opportunities to potential clients
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop new strategies for business growth
- Track and manage leads, follow-up activities, and communications in the CRM system
Skills
- Proven experience as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) or Business Development Representative (BDR)
- Strong cold calling and prospecting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential clients
- Knowledge of CRM systems and sales tools
- Experience in accounting or financial services is a plus
- Familiarity with small business operations
