The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead all financial operations and strategy, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to support the organization's growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and capital planning
- Manage the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and reports
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial information to leadership and stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to guide investment decisions and evaluate new business opportunities
- Optimize financial performance
- Design internal controls and lead financial risk management
- Oversee relationships with external auditors and financial partners
- Support long-term strategic planning
Skills
- Strong proficiency in Finance and Analytical Skills to guide strategic decision-making and assess business performance
- Demonstrated experience in Financial Planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Advanced knowledge of Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, with a track record of ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Experience in senior financial leadership roles, ideally within technology, software development, or healthcare sectors
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities, with comfort interacting with boards and investors
- Proven skills in risk management, internal controls, and process improvement to support scalable growth
- Relevant academic background such as a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- An MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus
