Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Symmetrio is recruiting for an innovative healthcare technology company seeking a Clinical Solutions Specialist - Radiation Oncology. This role serves as a clinical bridge between radiation oncology providers and the product development team, focusing on understanding workflows and translating customer feedback into actionable product requirements.
Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, therapists, and clinical care teams to understand their workflows and business needs
- Conduct workflow discovery sessions with customers to identify opportunities for product improvement and optimization
- Serve as the clinical expert during product demonstrations, customer meetings, implementations, and industry events
- Gather customer feedback and translate clinical workflows into detailed product requirements, workflow documentation, and user stories
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX designers, and software engineers to ensure customer needs are reflected in future product enhancements
- Document physician workflows, decision points, and clinical processes to support product development and regulatory requirements
- Assist Sales by answering complex clinical questions and providing subject matter expertise throughout the sales cycle
- Partner with implementation teams during customer onboarding to ensure workflows are accurately captured and successfully adopted
- Validate new product functionality through user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide feedback prior to release
- Contribute to product documentation, workflow standards, and best practices for future customer implementations
- Represent the organization at radiation oncology conferences, customer advisory boards, and industry meetings
- Travel to customer sites to support discovery sessions, implementations, and relationship development
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare, clinical, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of clinical experience within U.S. Radiation Oncology
- Experience as a Medical Dosimetrist, Radiation Therapist, Registered Nurse (RN), Clinical Applications Specialist, Clinical Specialist, or similar radiation oncology role
- Strong understanding of physician consult workflows, treatment planning, oncology documentation, and radiation oncology operations
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build credibility with physicians and clinical leadership
- Ability to translate clinical conversations into structured workflow documentation and product requirements
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Willingness to travel approximately 30-50% to customer sites, conferences, and team meetings, including occasional international travel
- Experience supporting healthcare technology, clinical software, EMRs, or oncology information systems
