[Remote] Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (GCP)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Datamatics is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In this role, you will design and maintain secure cloud architectures and build automated deployment pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain highly available, secure cloud architectures utilizing core GCP services like GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, and VPCs
• Build and optimize automated deployment pipelines
• Championing a 'shift-left' security approach by integrating quality gates and secure authentication methods (like Workload Identity Federation)

Skills

• Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions
• Design and maintain highly available, secure cloud architectures utilizing core GCP services like GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, and VPCs
• Build and optimize automated deployment pipelines
• Champion a 'shift-left' security approach by integrating quality gates and secure authentication methods (like Workload Identity Federation)
• Strong scripting skills
• Strong cloud networking skills
• Official Google Cloud Certifications
