Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Henderson Scott US is a leading global law firm seeking a Collections Specialist to join its Revenue Management team. This remote position involves managing collection efforts, partnering with attorneys, and resolving billing discrepancies.
Responsibilities
- Manage collection efforts on outstanding accounts receivable balances
- Partner with attorneys and internal stakeholders to drive timely collections
- Research payment discrepancies and resolve billing and payment issues
- Process and track client payments, refunds, and related documentation
- Generate and analyze collections and accounts receivable reports
- Assist with client onboarding and vendor documentation requirements
- Maintain accurate collection notes and account records
- Support month-end and year-end accounting activities as needed
Skills
- 5+ years of collections and/or accounts receivable experience within a law firm
- Experience partnering with attorneys and professional staff on collections matters
- Strong understanding of legal billing and accounts receivable processes
- Ability to analyze outstanding balances and resolve payment issues
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
