The role involves working on complex projects such as fund formation, credit transactions, and mergers and acquisitions while fostering strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel on private equity and debt transactions, fund formations, and structured equity investments
- Handle early- and late-stage private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with a focus on their business growth
- Collaborate closely with the team to deliver high-quality, efficient legal services
Skills
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admission to the New York Bar
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in transactional corporate law, preferably with BigLaw experience
- Proven expertise in fund formation, credit transactions, and general corporate matters
- Strong written, oral, and analytical skills, with a demonstrated business acumen
- Self-motivated with an ownership mentality over client relationships
- Delaware Bar admission is a plus but not required
