PwC is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Capital Markets Accounting Advisory Services (CMAAS) team. This role supports clients through complex financial reporting challenges related to IPOs, M&A, restructurings, and other transformational events. The ideal candidate will collaborate with senior management, bankers, and legal advisors to deliver high-quality accounting solutions. Responsibilities include technical research, financial reporting analysis, and advising on capital markets transactions. The role offers exposure to high-profile clients and the opportunity to grow within a dynamic, purpose-driven team. They will be responsible for the below:
o Perform data entry for accounts payable and receivable
o Process billing and payroll transactions
o Code invoices and post cash receipts
o Prepare reconciliation reports
o Conduct general bookkeeping tasks as needed
o Analyze quantitative data using Excel

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical accounting or financial reporting
• CPA license
• Experience with IPOs, M&A, restructurings, or GAAP conversions
• Proficiency in Alteryx for data transformation and automation
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including advanced formulas
• Project management capabilities
• Prior Core Assurance experience
• Sector expertise in relevant industries
• Experience in Transaction Services or Deals advisory
• Strong communication and client-facing skills written and verbal
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with automation, digitization, or data visualization tools
• Exposure to international accounting standards
• Familiarity with capital markets transactions and SEC reporting
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Digitally fluent with comfort using modern tools and platforms
