About the Role
As a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, responding to their inquiries, resolving issues, and providing personalized support. You'll work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, utilizing our state-of-the-art technology and following established processes to ensure seamless customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via telephone, providing timely and effective resolutions to their issues.
- Navigate our computerized data entry system and other relevant applications to access customer information, process requests, and update records.
- Resolve basic or tier 1 payment and account-related requests, including card activations, payments, and name and address updates for card holders.
- Utilize basic user-friendly Graphic User Interface (GUI) screens for client systems and established documentation and processes to provide standardized or scripted responses.
- Enter required data into client-provided systems and databases, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Determine basic reasons for customer issues using a client-provided decision tree and escalate or refer unresolved customer grievances and requests to more experienced Customer Service Representatives or designated departments.
- Build base knowledge and familiarization of products, policies, and procedures for a limited number of clients, and develop an understanding of association guidelines and compliance.
- Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as assigned by blithequark's 24/7 Call Center.
- Be on camera during work hours, ensuring a professional and engaging customer experience.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 6 months minimum call center experience, either remote or onsite

- Skills / Knowledge: Acquires and applies job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete assigned routine tasks.
- Job Complexity: Works on assignments that are routine to semi-routine in nature, requiring limited decision outside of stated processes, but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
- Supervision: Normally receives detailed instructions and follows established procedures on all work, requires instructions on all assignments.
