Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Customer Support Accountant to provide expert support to small and medium-sized business owners. The role involves answering accounting queries, supporting bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online, and maintaining high data privacy standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide omnichannel chat support to SMB (small and medium-sized business) owners
- Answer general help questions and complex, data-heavy accounting queries
- Support bookkeeping and financial guidance using QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Analyze and interpret financial data to provide accurate and actionable responses
- Complete PPT-based or structured tasks as assigned
- Maintain high standards of data privacy, compliance, and client confidentiality
Skills
- Active user of QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Prior experience providing omnichannel chat support
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and data analysis
- Ability to handle complex, data-driven accounting questions
- Ability to commit 40 hours/week with at least 4 hours PST overlap
- Experience working with SMB clients is preferred
- Prior experience as an SMB business owner with hands-on accounting knowledge
- Previous engagement as an expert in finance/accounting domain
- Comfortable managing high-volume, data-heavy queries
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
