- Build relationships: Maintains strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners
- Develop sales strategies: Creates and implements sales strategies to achieve business growth targets
- Conducts market research: Identify emerging trends and opportunities within the IT landscape
- Collaborates with teams: Works with marketing and product teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns
- Participates in networking events: Expands business reach through participation in industry conferences and trade shows
- Prepares business proposals: Prepares and presents business proposals and presentations to prospective clients
- Monitors performance: Monitors and reports on the performance of business development initiatives
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field
- 7-10 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles within the IT industry
- Strong understanding of technology solutions and market trends
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of achieving business growth targets
- Travel may be required occasionally for trade shows and engagements, generally no more than twice per month
