Integral Consulting Inc. is a science and engineering firm delivering sound technical solutions in health, environmental, and natural resource arenas. They are seeking a highly motivated Director of Contracts and Legal Services to lead the CLS department, ensuring compliance and managing legal affairs while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Leading the drafting, review, negotiation, and execution of contracts and ensuring compliance with legal standards and organizational policies
- Developing and implementing contract management processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and risk mitigation
- Identifying, assessing, and managing risks associated with contracts and organizational operations
- Applying risk management strategies and frameworks to minimize potential risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Overseeing the firm’s legal affairs and building on outside law firm relationships
- Partnering with the M&A team to support due diligence and integration of systems and staff
- Leading our property, casualty, and professional liability insurance renewal process with support from other corporate directors and the CLS team
- Leading, mentoring, and developing CLS staff
- Identifying opportunities for process automation, system enhancements, and efficiency improvements
Skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Minimum of 7–10 years of legal experience, preferably including both law firm and in-house counsel experience
- Experience managing contracts, compliance, corporate governance, and risk
- Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry
- Experience supporting multi-state operations
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience
