About the Role Our client is seeking a creative and experienced Remote Early Learning Curriculum Developer to design and produce innovative educational content for young children. This is a fully remote, contractor position, offering flexibility to work from anywhere. You will be responsible for creating engaging, age-appropriate curricula for various early learning platforms, focusing on cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. The ideal candidate has a strong background in early childhood education, curriculum design, and a proven ability to develop compelling digital and print learning materials. You will collaborate with a distributed team to shape the future of early learning experiences. Key Responsibilities Design and develop comprehensive curriculum frameworks, lesson plans, activities, and assessments for early learners (ages 2-6). Create engaging digital content, including interactive modules, videos, and online learning games. Develop print materials such as activity books, worksheets, and parent guides. Ensure all curriculum content aligns with early learning standards and pedagogical best practices. Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and graphic artists to produce high-quality educational resources. Research current trends and advancements in early childhood education to inform curriculum development. Review and revise existing curriculum materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness. Manage project timelines and deliverables for assigned curriculum development tasks. Contribute to the strategic direction of educational content development. Adapt content for different learning platforms and delivery methods. Requirements Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development, specifically for early learning environments. Proven experience creating digital and interactive learning content. In-depth knowledge of child development theories and early learning standards (e.g., Common Core, NAEYC). Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. Proficiency with various educational technologies and content creation tools. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote setting. Strong research and analytical skills. Portfolio showcasing previous curriculum development work is highly desirable. Experience with learning management systems (LMS) is a plus.
