Cottage Health is a leading acute care hospital system, located on the central coast of California, widely known for our superior patient care, innovation, medical research and education. They are seeking an Epic Clinical Analyst Sr to analyze and maintain Epic clinical applications within their Clinical Informatics and Care Delivery Applications department.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes, configures, develops, tests, implements, supports and maintains Epic clinical applications, solutions and business processes to meet operational and technical requirements
- Obtains and maintains in depth knowledge of software functionality and acquires and utilizes knowledge of operational workflows to be implemented
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, information technology, allied health professions, business or a related field
- Current Epic certification for assigned application(s)
- Working knowledge of IT solutions and interfaces, operating platforms and network software
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools
- Demonstrated understanding of clinical workflows and terminology specific to appropriate clinical department
- 5 years of analyst experience in similar clinical system implementation or EHR system support
- License or certification in related clinical field or information systems
- 5 years of analyst experience in similar clinical system implementation or EHR system support AND 5 years of project management or clinical experience in the areas of Radiology, Laboratory OR/Anesthesia, Oncology, Emergency Department, Cardiology or other appropriate healthcare area
