About the Role Our client, a leading hospitality management group, is seeking a highly organized and creative Remote Executive Event Planner to manage high-profile events and conferences. This role requires an individual with exceptional planning, coordination, and execution skills, with a strong focus on delivering memorable experiences within the hospitality sector. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to conceptualize, design, and implement a wide range of events, from corporate functions to exclusive galas. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to manage complex events from anywhere in the US, while collaborating with a dynamic and geographically dispersed team. The ideal candidate has a passion for events, meticulous attention to detail, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of event planning and execution, from initial concept to post-event analysis. Liaise directly with clients to understand their needs, objectives, and vision for the event. Develop detailed event proposals, budgets, timelines, and project plans. Source and negotiate with vendors, including venues, caterers, entertainment, and AV providers. Coordinate event logistics, including scheduling, staffing, setup, and teardown. Ensure seamless execution of events, troubleshooting any issues that arise in real-time. Develop creative event concepts and themes that align with client objectives and brand standards. Manage event budgets effectively, tracking expenses and ensuring profitability. Conduct post-event evaluations and provide comprehensive reports to clients and management. Stay current with event industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in executive event planning, with a significant portion dedicated to hospitality or corporate events. Demonstrated success in planning and managing a variety of events, from small executive meetings to large-scale conferences and galas. Exceptional organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client-facing skills. Proficiency in event management software and standard office productivity tools. Creative thinking and a keen eye for detail in design, logistics, and execution. Ability to work independently, manage deadlines effectively, and thrive in a remote work environment. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends, as dictated by event schedules.
