Curate is a premier US manufacturer representative group Avision, seeking a Field Sales Consultant to sell products from contracted manufacturers within a specific territory. The role requires technical expertise and organizational skills to influence end-user customers and generate revenue while providing marketing input and support to distribution channels.
Responsibilities
- Makes sales presentations to end users in person by traveling as frequently as necessary or via telephone and email to meet and surpass the sales goals of the company. Review the entire territory line list from all our manufacturer partners during presentations
- Assists with the planning of sales exhibits. Attends trade shows. Participates in education and training conferences on selling and marketing programs. Coordinates and assists in professionally leading sales meetings to include site selection and agenda preparation
- Keeps informed of manufacturer partners' new products, product updates, services, new technologies, and other general information of interest to customers. Constant awareness of competitive activity
- Develop new methods of attaining distributors and assisting distributors in attaining new accounts through company-generated leads
- Manages and keeps all customer activity current using the company CRM system daily to maintain organized files on all accounts within designated territory to support regular manufacturer partners' reporting
- Participates in sales forecasting and planning in an effective manner by researching, developing, and maintaining long- and short-range sales and marketing plans
Skills
- Must be in the (Northern VA)
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is mandatory
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills are a necessity
- Proficiency in utilizing Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and CRM systems is essential
- The ability to efficiently manage workloads is vital
- Practical knowledge of clients' needs and capabilities is advantageous
- Proficiency in delivering formal presentations to both small and large groups is fundamental
- Experience in managing extensive territories and diverse product portfolios is beneficial
- A demonstrated ability to stay updated on emerging technology and market trends is valued
- Relevant sales experience or completion of a sales course is advantageous
- We seek individuals capable of illustrating problem-solving, negotiation skills, and successful managerial experience
- Professional sales training is a beneficial addition
