Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Rosabella is one of the fastest growing DTC health and wellness supplement brands. They are seeking a Financial Controller to own and clean up the finance function, bringing structure and clarity to the financial processes as the company scales.
Responsibilities
- Weekly and monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash reporting
- Margin analysis by offer, SKU, and channel
- Channel level P&Ls for Amazon, DTC, and TikTok Shop
- 13 week cash flow forecasting and cash management
- Month end close and account reconciliations
- Inventory, COGS, and payment processor reconciliation
- Accounts payable including suppliers, creators, agencies, and vendors
- Invoice review for accuracy across vendors and sales tax filings
- Sales tax compliance and coordination with external tax partners
- Process improvement, automation, and documentation over time
Skills
- 3 to 5 years of accounting or controller experience
- Strong GAAP and inventory accounting knowledge
- Highly detail oriented, proactive, and self sufficient
- Comfortable operating in fast moving, flat organizations
- Excited to bring order, clarity, and rigor to a scaling company
- Background in CPG or ecommerce
- Experience with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, and ideally TikTok Shop
- Comfortable working in an on-call Start up environment
- Comfortable with Day to Day execution, and long term strategic planning
- Obsessed with accuracy, efficiency, and structure
- Calm under pressure and decisive when tradeoffs are required
- Bias toward action, speed and ownership over delegation and coordination
- Pragmatic, not theoretical
