This role bridges the gap between data science, corporate finance, and telecom infrastructure operations, focusing on inventory management and financial modeling.
Responsibilities
- Executing advanced contractor contract pricing models
- Performing engineering Bill of Materials (BOM) validations
- Leading data-driven Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes
- Conducting rigorous pre-forecasting and post-performance reconciliations
- Developing robust financial models
- Writing SQL queries
- Traveling to the field for warehouse inventory validation
- Partnering with finance to ensure systemic data integrity
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or a highly quantitative related field
- 7+ years of progressive experience blending corporate finance, logistics, inventory management, or supply chain analytics, preferably within telecommunications or a capital-intensive utility construction environment
- Willingness and physical ability to travel up to 15% to regional storage facilities and build sites for onsite auditing
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel (macros, advanced modeling, pivot tables) and strong database management skills preferably utilizing SQL
- Experience building and maintaining business intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau, etc
- Deep understanding of telecommunications equipment, outside plant (OSP) deployment needs, and hands-on proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like Dynamics, 365, SAP or Oracle
- Exceptional written and verbal communication to translate complex supply chain datasets into digestible business stories
- Collaborative mindset necessary to maintain strong partnership lines across operational and financial units
- APICS CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or CPIM (Certified in Planning and Inventory Management)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
