They are seeking a Frontend Engineer to develop data-driven web applications and user interfaces that support real-time data and complex workflows.
Responsibilities
- Develop performant user interfaces using React
- Build and maintain UI components for data-rich applications
- Support interfaces that handle real-time data, operational workflows, and mission-critical use cases
- Deliver intuitive, reliable user experiences for complex technical systems
- Integrate frontend applications with backend services using REST, GraphQL, or similar APIs
- Support rendering performance improvements for large datasets and real-time updates
- Help ensure responsive, reliable performance across devices, browsers, and operating environments
- Debug frontend issues and contribute to ongoing performance improvements
- Contribute to frontend architecture, including state management, data flow, and application structure
- Build and maintain reusable components and UI patterns
- Write clean, testable, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Follow established engineering standards and contribute improvements over time
- Partner with backend, platform, product, and design teams to deliver end-to-end features
- Collaborate with UX/design to implement high-quality, usable interfaces
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, technical planning, and roadmap execution
- Communicate progress, tradeoffs, and technical considerations clearly
Skills
- 3–5+ years of experience in frontend engineering or related software engineering roles
- Strong experience with React and modern JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience building data-driven web applications
- Experience working with APIs and asynchronous data flows
- Solid understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and performance considerations
- Experience with modern frontend tooling, build systems, and development workflows
- Ability to build reliable interfaces for complex workflows and data-rich applications
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-moving environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Experience building map-based or geospatial applications using tools such as Mapbox, Leaflet, or Deck.gl
- Familiarity with WebGL or advanced visualization frameworks
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or similar tools
- Understanding of design systems and reusable component architecture
- Experience with real-time systems, data streaming applications, or operational dashboards
- Experience supporting mission-critical, real-world deployed systems
- Experience working in small, fast-moving engineering teams or high-growth technology companies
- Active or prior security clearance
