Lloyd & Whyte is seeking an Insurance Consultant to join their Totnes office as part of Naturesave Insurance, an award-winning ethical insurance broker. The role involves delivering commercial insurance sales targets through effective sales and relationship management techniques, providing expert advice to clients, and supporting the overall business strategy.
Responsibilities
- Deliver holistic insurance reviews by assessing client needs and recommending suitable related products for both new and existing customers
- Meet business targets by achieving new business, retention goals, service KPIs and maintaining required workflow standards
- Maintain strong technical expertise through continuous learning of products, market trends and underwriting guidelines to manage complex cases and referrals
- Achieve agreed performance objectives by consistently meeting individual KPIs and contributing to team success
- Underwrite and manage claims effectively by adhering to underwriting authority levels, handling claims promptly and keeping clients fully informed through to settlement
Skills
- Proven experience with the Commercial Insurance Industry
- Confident and capable of building rapport over the telephone to provide an excellent client experience
- Creative and effective in helping to shape the team to focus on service, quality standards and efficiency
- Ability to work in a regulated, compliant and client focused environment
- Organised, resourceful, deadline driven and supportive of the wider team
- Chartered Insurance Institute Certificate in Insurance (hold/willing to work towards)
