Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Truehold is a high-growth company focused on helping homeowners access equity without displacement. They are seeking an Investment Sales Lead to engage homeowners exploring Home Equity Investments, manage the sales pipeline, and collaborate with various teams to enhance the sales process.
Responsibilities
- Engage with inbound leads - homeowners exploring an HEI - and guide them from initial inquiry through signed agreement
- Make a high volume of outbound calls daily to connect with prospective homeowners in your pipeline
- Educate homeowners on Truehold Financial's HEI product: how it works, how it compares to alternatives (HELOCs, cash-out refis), and why it may be the right fit for their situation
- Serve as a single point of contact throughout the process - own the homeowner relationship start to finish
- Manage your pipeline in Salesforce - document every activity, keep deal stages current, and flag stalled files proactively
- Provide regular, proactive status updates to homeowners via phone, email, and text: what's been completed, what's next, and what you need from them
- Coordinate with internal processors and underwriters to keep applications moving and resolve bottlenecks quickly
- Track and work toward monthly and quarterly sales targets; flag early if you're off pace
- Develop a thorough understanding of the HEI product, including underwriting guidelines, eligibility criteria, and common objection responses
- Stay current on the competitive landscape and know how to position Truehold Financial's offering
- Collaborate cross-functionally with originations, marketing, and legal to resolve questions and support a high-quality homeowner experience
- Contribute to team culture by sharing what's working: call techniques, objection handling, product positioning
Skills
- 7+ years of sales experience in a closing role: HEI consumer sales required
- Drive to hit and exceed goals: you treat your pipeline like a business, not a task list. You know your numbers and own the outcome
- Genuine empathy: you take the time to understand a homeowner's situation before pitching a solution. You know that trust is what moves deals, not pressure
- Strong communication skills: clear, professional, and direct — on the phone, in email, and in text. You write well and you listen well
- CRM fluency: experience with HubSpot or Salesforce required. You keep your pipeline clean and your notes detailed
- Adaptability: we're building a new product in a young category. Processes will evolve, and you'll need to move with them without losing momentum
- Collaborative mindset: you compete with your goals, not your teammates. You share what's working and ask for help when you're stuck
- High ethical standards: you represent Truehold Financial to homeowners. You are honest about what the product does and doesn't do
Benefits
- Full benefits: 401(k) match, PTO, paid holidays
