They are seeking a K-5 Math Curriculum Writer to write and adapt standards-aligned Math curriculum for grades K-5, creating engaging lesson plans and assessments that foster mathematical reasoning and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Write and adapt Math curriculum and instructional materials (units, lesson plans, assessments, student materials)
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, editors, and instructional designers
- Incorporate evidence-based best practices in Math instruction
- Revise materials based on client feedback
- Support development of professional learning materials for teachers
- Apply knowledge of current trends in Math education
- Integrate innovative strategies and tools to enhance learner engagement
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in math, education, or related field
- Familiarity with AI tools and comfort learning new software platforms
- Excellent writing skills
