Atrium Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Therapist to join our dynamic team in Smithtown, New York. Key Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in supervision and training opportunities.
Required Qualifications
• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LCSW-R) in New York.
• Experience in providing mental health therapy in an outpatient setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Commitment to ethical practice and client confidentiality.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health records is preferred.
