**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Remote LTC Pharmacy Data Entry Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the health and wellness of seniors by accurately processing prescription orders and medical records. **Responsibilities**
As a Remote LTC Pharmacy Data Entry Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Contacting physician's offices as needed for refill authorization
* Contacting clients for verification of orders as needed
* Processing all new and refill prescriptions
* Opening orders as needed, verifying eligibility, proof, and inputting prescriptions while maintaining productivity and quality standards
* Documenting correspondence and follow-up in the system
* Preparing audit sheets and providing feedback to managers
* Forwarding incomplete or rejected scripts to the appropriate department for resolution and tracking status in the system
* Initiating and documenting correspondence and follow-up in the system
* Assisting with research of lost or missing orders per internal department requests
* Providing backup support to other pharmacy groups based on business needs or production levels
* Answering incoming calls promptly and providing a high standard of customer service to clients
**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
* Pharmacy Technician license and Certification (CPhT) as per state requirements
* Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred
* Frameworks and Docutrack experience preferred
* Ability to work in a flexible schedule as operational needs dictate, including nights, weekends, and holidays
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Pharmacy data entry experience; minimum one year
* Strong knowledge of Brand/Generic drugs and medical terminology
