They are seeking a National Sales Manager to define and execute sales strategies, lead a team, and drive growth across various sales channels.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the US sales strategy across specialty retail, key accounts, farm and feed channel, and e-commerce, aligned with global objectives
- Translate strategic priorities into clear sales targets, channel plans, and actionable roadmaps for the team
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 10+ sales professionals, drive performance, accountability, and a strong results-oriented culture
- Oversee and optimize CRM systems to ensure accurate pipeline tracking, data integrity, and actionable sales insights
- Own and manage relationships with key national key accounts and other strategic partners
- Drive distribution expansion, shelf presence, and online visibility, ensuring strong execution both in-store and across digital channels
- Identify and unlock new business opportunities across channels and customer segments
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive dynamics to optimize performance, pricing, assortment, and channel strategy
- Collaborate closely with (trade) marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure aligned and effective commercial execution
- Lead sales meetings, forecast processes, and business reviews with internal and external stakeholders
Skills
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in B2B FMCG sales, with a strong track record of delivery growth
- Proven experience in leading and developing sales teams
- Extensive experience in Key Account Management
- Strong experience in specialty retail and e-commerce channels
- Master's degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or related field
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong proficiency in CRM systems, Excel, and sales analytics tools
- Experience in pet food, animal nutrition, or adjacent FMCG categories is strongly preferred
