ELEVI Associates is seeking a senior DDI Architect with deep network engineering expertise and hands‑on experience delivering enterprise‑class DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions. The role focuses on post‑sales engineering for Infoblox implementations while also supporting pre‑sales technical efforts to drive new business.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement Infoblox‑based DDI solutions across enterprise and global environments
- Lead DDI migrations, including Microsoft DNS/DHCP transitions and platform‑to‑platform IPAM migrations (Infoblox, EfficientIP, BlueCat, TCPWave)
- Execute system upgrades, re‑architecture efforts, and tech refreshes for customer DDI environments
- Provide lifecycle engineering and architectural guidance — not day‑to‑day system administration
- Produce high‑quality documentation, design artifacts, diagrams, and knowledge‑transfer materials
- Ensure successful delivery through best‑practice design, testing, validation, and cutover planning
- Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding long‑term DDI strategy and modernization
- Deliver compelling DDI and DNS Security presentations, product overviews, and live demos
- Lead technical discovery sessions to uncover customer requirements, challenges, and business drivers
- Support sales cycles with solution design, POC/POV engagements, and RFP/RFI responses
- Map customer needs to ELEVI’s DDI architecture, migration, and DNS Security offerings using value‑based framing
- Translate customer requirements into architectural recommendations, scopes of work, and value‑driven proposals
- Partner with Account Executives to identify and shape new‑business opportunities
- Contribute to sales and marketing collateral, solution diagrams, and technical content
Skills
- 10+ years of enterprise DDI engineering experience with deep expertise in DNS, DHCP, IPAM, ISC BIND, Kea DHCP, NTP, TCP/IP
- Strong hands-on Infoblox experience (core requirement)
- Proven ability to lead DDI migrations, including Microsoft DNS/DHCP transitions and large-scale platform-to-platform IPAM migrations
- Solid understanding of DNS Security (DNSSEC, RPZ, threat-intel filtering)
- Python and/or Perl scripting required, with proficiency in bash/ksh/csh, APIs, CLIs, VPN, SSH, data migration, and service integration
- Broad networking and systems background: Linux/Unix, routing/switching, load balancing, MS Active Directory, VoIP, UDP, and related infrastructure
- Strong foundation in Backup & Disaster Recovery, fault-tolerant systems, and upgrade planning
- Excellent communication skills — confident presenting to all levels, leading whiteboard sessions, and translating complex technical concepts into clear business value
- Experience supporting sales cycles, POCs, demos, RFP/RFI responses, and collaborating with Account Executives, partners, and cross-functional teams
- Infoblox certifications strongly preferred
- Experience with EfficientIP, BlueCat, or TCPWave (highly desirable; training provided)
