The Operations Generalist role involves managing various projects, including M&A activities, startup launches, and operational tasks across the portfolio, with a focus on leveraging AI tools and improving workflows.
Responsibilities
- Make our M&A engine run. Help us find, evaluate, and close deals, from sourcing the right brokers and targets to driving the process forward so nothing stalls
- Push our AI to its limits. Run, critique, and improve our AI research agents and workflows, QA their output, and layer real human judgment and analysis on top
- Build the tooling. Stand up simple, high-leverage workflows with tools like Claude and n8n that save the team hours and scale what we do
- Turn numbers into decisions. Build sharp models and analysis in Excel that leadership actually uses to make calls
- Own special projects end to end. From AI-powered lead gen and customer acquisition to standing up partnerships with outside vendors and consulting firms, you'll take outcomes others can't and make them happen
- Keep the operation tight. Be the connective tissue across deals, companies, and projects so the trains run on time
Skills
- Early in your career and ready to punch above your level
- Business, economics, or STEM background with a real affinity for business and startups
- Excellent at basic finance, math, and Excel
- Fluent with AI tools and hungry to push them further
- Tech and admin savvy across a range of software
- Someone who runs toward ambiguity, juggles many projects, and owns the outcome
