Our client, a cutting-edge sports technology company, is looking for a highly organized and proactive Remote Operations Manager to join their dynamic, fully remote team. This role is essential for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operational activities that support the company's innovative sports technology products and services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in operations management, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen ability to implement efficient processes. You will be responsible for managing cross-functional workflows, ensuring seamless delivery of services, managing vendor relationships, and contributing to strategic operational planning. This position requires a strong understanding of technology operations and a passion for the sports industry, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and streamline daily operational processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery. Oversee the coordination between different departments (e.g., product, engineering, customer support) to ensure smooth workflow and communication. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and quality. Manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met. Monitor key operational metrics and performance indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for improvement. Contribute to strategic operational planning and forecasting to support company growth. Manage operational budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness. Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise, implementing timely solutions. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. Support the onboarding and training of new team members regarding operational procedures. Utilize various project management and collaboration tools to maintain organized workflows.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within a technology or sports-related industry. Proven experience managing remote or distributed teams and operations. Strong understanding of operational workflows, process improvement, and project management methodologies. Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills. Proficiency with CRM software, project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira), and collaboration platforms (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams). Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and geographies. A passion for sports and technology is highly desirable.
