We are currently seeking a seasoned Personal Injury Litigation Attorney (plaintiff-side) based in Ohio to join our growing remote team. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to lead complex personal injury cases, advocate fiercely for clients, and shape favorable outcomes through expert legal strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of personal injury law, exceptional negotiation skills, and a passion for justice. Responsibilities:
• Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury claims, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, medical malpractice, and wrongful death cases
• Conduct thorough legal research utilizing tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis to build strong case strategies
• Draft detailed pleadings, motions, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and trial documents with precision and clarity
• Negotiate settlements effectively with insurance companies and opposing counsel to maximize client compensation
• Represent clients at depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials with confidence and professionalism
• Collaborate with experts in medical, accident reconstruction, and other relevant fields to strengthen case evidence
• Maintain meticulous case files and ensure compliance with all legal procedures and deadlines
Skills:
• Experience: 10+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience
• License:
• Required: Active Ohio Bar license
• Preferred: Dual licensure in Ohio and Texas
• Trial Background: Strong courtroom experience with a track record of results
• Skills: Exceptional advocacy, negotiation, and legal writing abilities
• Mindset: Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Work Style: Self-driven, organized, and comfortable managing a full caseload in a remote environment
• Team Player: Collaborative approach with the ability to work cross-functionally
